Under the control of the Poitou-Charentes (France) Regional Chamber of Agriculture, tests carried out on a 155hp tractor using the TOTAL TRACTAGRI Fuel Economy engine oil and the TOTAL DYNATRANS MPV transmission oil, indicated a reduction of the fuel consumption :

• 2.8 %in the transport testing (average fuel consumption of 18L/hour)
• 5.5 %on the power test bench (average consumption of 35L/hour)

Under the conditions of these tests and in the annual event of 250 hours on road and 250 on fields, a fuel saving of :

600 liters / year

Lubricated with TOTAL TRACTAGRI HDX FE 15W-30, in comparison with a standard 15W-40 lubricant
(in engine and transmission)

*Observed reduction in fuel consumption by 2.8% on the road and 5.5% on the power test bench, i.e. savings of 600 litres for a 155 hp tractor that consumes 18 litres/hour on the road and 35 litres/hour under full load, while operating 250 hours/year on the road and 250 hours/year under full load. Result obtained using TOTAL TRACTAGRI Fuel Economy engine lubricant together with TOTAL DYNATRANS MPV in the transmission, in comparison with a standard 15W-40 lubricant (in engine and transmission).

ANAC Diagnosis - Lubricant analysis for Agriculture

ANAC is a management tool for agricultural equipment The ANAC service consists in making a diagnosis of mechanical components (engine, transmissions, hydraulic) from oil samples taken in service.

Analyses are carried out via an expert system that assesses the proper operation of each component with respect to a reference of the same family. This system takes stock of the different intervals between oil change as well as the lubricant's makeup level.
